Intermediate Custom Splinting
This 6-hour course is for occupational therapists who are interested in furthering their knowledge of custom hand splinting.
It is intended for those who have some basic experience with custom hand splinting.
The course will cover the clinical indications and fabrication of:
- trigger finger splint
- relative motion splint
- anti-claw splint
- hand based ulnar or radial gutter splint
- forearm based resting splint
During this course the participant will explore splinting with a variety of materials including orficast and aquatubes.
Splinting materials and pattern handouts are included.
